Functions and Strategic Use

The strategic use of consumables is essential for managing a successful franchise in Draftables. Each consumable has a specific function, such as:

  • Faster Training Time: Some consumables can speed up the training process, allowing athletes to develop their skills faster and get back on the field quicker.

  • Enhancing Training Effectiveness: Other consumables can increase the gains from each training session, making training more efficient and effective.

  • Boosting Match Performance: Certain consumables can be used to give athletes an edge during competitions, temporarily improving a specific stat for an individual athlete.

Each in-game consumable is designed to provide specific benefits to athletes. Although the consumable market in the game will continue to grow, the three most basic consumables include:

  • Energy Drinks: Boost an athlete's energy levels, allowing them to compete more frequently by recovering their stamina faster.

  • Protein Bars and Drinks: Enhance training efficacy and shorten recovery time, increasing the capacity at which an athlete can train.

  • Supplements: Enhance muscle growth and training effect, improving the impact of physical training and related stats over time.

Players must carefully consider which consumables to use, balancing immediate needs with long-term development goals. The strategic deployment of consumables can be the difference between a win and a loss, especially in tightly contested matches.
