  2. $DRFT

Utility

The economy of Draftables is designed to encourage active player engagement and strategic financial management. Players must make informed decisions about investing in their team and facilities, managing their assets, and engaging in the marketplace to maximize their franchise's value and success.

Time Monetization

Draftables follows a free-to-play model that offers a "freemium" experience; by spending $DRFT, users can save time or accelerate their progress within the game. For example, $DRFT can be spent on expediting building upgrades and player training times. However, buying better athletes won't necessarily bring a team to the top division. Rather, it takes a balance of skill, XP, and strategy to win and get promoted. In short, both paying and free-to-play users will have to compete and earn to see true improvements in their franchise.

Primary & Secondary Marketplaces

Users can engage with the marketplace to obtain assets for their franchise, speculate on the value of their existing in-game assets, and seek out rare items, mirroring real-world economic strategies.

Additionally, $DRFT opens users up to exclusive markets for in-game items. Users can acquire certain limited on-chain assets strictly through $DRFT. These items include cosmetics from both Draftables and our Web2 and Web3 IP partners.

Staking

$DRFT can be staked to augment in-game activity in many ways. These include -- but are not limited to -- staking $DRFT with your franchise's scouts to recruit higher-ranking talent for your team and staking $DRFT in a number of your franchise's buildings to boost their performance for your team.
